We are recruiting a Residential Manager for our specialist female-only residential rehabilitation service near Ipswich, Suffolk. The service is due to open later this year and will provide life-changing person-centred support through a purpose-built, therapeutic community. The service will offer an innovative substance misuse treatment programme delivered by small team, the recruitment of which will be led by the Residential Manager. The initial 7 bed service is the first phase of a 12 bed service set in 2 acres of farmland in the Suffolk countryside. The new Residential Manager will be instrumental to the planning, team-creation and delivery of the service. This is a rare opportunity to help create a state-of- the-art residential rehabilitation service from the ground up.
Do you have?
Experience in delivering successful rehab services in association with partner agencies
The vision and experience to play a lead role in creating a new residential rehabilitation service from scratch
An understanding of the complex issues facing women entering residential treatment
Registered manager status with the CQC (or the skills and desire to rapidly achieve this)
A passion for nurturing and developing your staff
A committed Christian faith in line with the ethos of the charity. This is an occupational requirement as permitted under Section 9 part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

We plan to open the Community in late autumn 2016 following completion of our facilities on site. The successful candidate will need to begin work in advance of opening to assist with planning and
recruitment of the staff team, possibly on a part-time basis, though this is open to discussion. Due to the specialist nature of the work, previous experience of working with females is essential and we
are recruiting females only for our service, (see ref to Equality Act 2010 above). Working outside normal hours may be required.
Salary –£26-30k depending on experience. Competitive terms and conditions apply.
Talitha Koum began in 2005 with a vision to deliver help and healing to women struggling with addition. TK has over 300 supporters including individuals, public and private sector organisations,
local media organisations and politicians, councillors, community groups and over 130 local churches. The charity already offers successful community-based support though its “Women Together” group. Based on this solid platform of support we are nearing completion of the first phase of our state-of- the-art residential centre from which we will deliver tier 4 post-detox rehab services to up to 7 women initially, rising to 12 women as we expand the facilities on offer.
